Carrier Helps Families Protect Indoor Air as Wildfire Smoke Spreads

by admin477351

Wildfires are sending smoke across much of North America, and the air inside homes and offices isn’t always safe. Carrier wants families and businesses to know there are steps they can take to protect themselves.

The company advises using HVAC systems with strong filters, closing gaps that let in smoke, and running portable air purifiers with HEPA technology. “Even indoors, wildfire smoke can be a problem,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our technology is built to help people breathe easier.”

To support communities, Carrier recently donated $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles.
