Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov mocked the European stance on the Ukraine war, calling the hope for a Ukrainian victory “childish behavior.”
Speaking at an event, Alipov also labeled the European belief as “craziness” and “unprofessional,” stating that “there is no chance” Russia will be defeated.
He explained that this certainty comes from Russia’s nuclear weapons, which make it impossible for the country to be “taken over.”
The ambassador also noted that this is not just rhetoric, but part of Russia’s official military doctrine, which allows for nuclear use in response to an “existential threat.”
He also claimed that Donald Trump “understands” this, asserting the former US president knows the war is “lost by Ukraine and the West,” unlike the “belligerent” European leaders.
